Pastor Leonardo Balaguer, originally from Argentina, is a pastor with a passion for sharing the everlasting gospel and teaching the Bible in a clear and practical manner. For the past eight years, he has shared his life and ministry with his wife, Arlen Balaguer—originally from Peru—who dedicates her talents to the music ministry and children’s ministry. Together, they seek to strengthen families and draw people closer to Christ. Both grew up in the United States.
They currently serve in Montrose, Colorado, as part of the Rocky Mountain Conference of SDA. With over a decade of ministerial experience, Pastor Balaguer has served as a missionary in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. He has actively participated in evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training, in addition to working with small groups, youth ministries, prophecy classes, and various church departments.
Beyond his pastoral work, he enjoys studying the Bible, history, and biblical archaeology. He also loves going on adventures, enjoying God’s creation, and connecting with people. His greatest desire is to prepare people for the soon-coming of Jesus.
